Anières Mechina is a new scholarship program for talented students who recently made Aliyah or are planning to make Aliyah, and want to study engineering in the Technion.

The program aims to provide participants with financial, academic, and social support during preparatory studies to help them fulfill their potential and be accepted into engineering studies at the Technion.

Beyond academic excellence, the vision of Anières is to create a strong community that will support our students throughout their journey to the forefront of science and technology, in the hi-tech industry, academia, and public leadership in Israel.

Our Scholarship

To ensure that the participants will be accepted to engineering studies at the Technion, we have collaborated with the Mechina (pre-academic center) of the Technion and created a unique program tailored especially for New Olim.

For our participants to get a fair chance to be accepted to the Mechina and later on to the Technion, we will provide the participants with a Hebrew course (ulpan), a preparatory course for the Mechina, and a preparatory course for the psychometric exam.

Anières Scholarship

We provide financial support covering living expenses, allowing participants to focus only on their studies to maximize their chances to get accepted to Engineering studis. Additionally, if accepted into undergraduate studies, participants will continue to receive World ORT Anières excellence scholarships throughout their studies.

Personal Guidance

Our dedicated team provides academic and social support to the participants throughout their academic journey.

Community and Networking

Program participants will study together in a designated class at the Mechina, and become part of the broader community of Anières students at the Technion. They will enjoy various social activities, lectures and workshops to improve their non-academic skills and broaden their network.
